PTC Resistors
These components work like slow blow fuses, however, they reset after 20 seconds, but only if no current is detected. Mounted in series to the speaker, they are well suited to protect them against overload.

The calculator below is set in such a way that the PTC resistor cuts off after 1 to 10 seconds at the power indicated.

Input instruction (a guide line according to our experience):
For
- bass drivers the rated power handling may be entered
- tweeters with 10 mm dome diameter ca. 1 Watt should be entered
- tweeters with 19 mm dome diameter ca. 4 Watt should be entered
- tweeters with 25 mm dome diameter ca. 8 Watt should be entered
- PA tweeters half the the rated power handling should be entered

range 		-40 to +85 Grad C
Shape:
 		 Disc with < 3.0 mm thickness with
terminal lugs spaced 5.1 mm or from I > 2A: 10.2 mm

Dimension: D indicates the diameter of the disc.
Rated voltage: Cut-off at 1.5 x rated power after roughly 3 seconds.
Resistance:    That's the factory setting
