Descartes with Alcone and Seas drivers

Descartes was developed by Dennis Frank. His main goal was once again to create a big loudspeaker with crystal clear tops, clean bass and with a great three-dimensional ability.
Alcone Descartes

Descartes is a three way closed cabinet loudspeaker consisting of one Seas Noferro 650, two Alcone AC6.5 HE and two Alcone AC8 HE.

The Descartes shows the following characteristics:

  • very clean bass (although not that deep)
  • supreme bass dynamics
  • extremely well balanced, spacious sound
  • high transparency

The Descartes shows an even frequency response, with a slight decline in bass ensuring a sound close to the original.
